Archaeopteryx Lithographica- a 1:1 scale reconstruction.
Finally I have done it. I used golden pheasant feathers for this. I have made feathered dinosaur models before this, such as Microraptors, but they were miserable failures. Gregory Paul,s Archaeopteryx study were my main source of information, during this project. NOTE! The attachment of feathers should start from the 2nd digit, not from the wrist. So this model is inaccurate from this part. |
